Police Plan Organized Call to Keep Forensic Lab in Newburgh

HUDSON VALLEY, NY (WAMC) -
The forensic lab used by law enforcement agencies in the Hudson Valley is closing down in sixty days...and most agencies first heard about it through a newspaper article. All the evidence will soon have to go to Albany for lab work, and officials say that will mean not only added costs and strain on limited personnel, but slower processing of those cases.
